# Synerise

Integrate Synerise with MessageFlow to send SMS campaigns to dynamically created customer segments and trigger real-time notifications within your marketing automation workflows. MessageFlow's scalable system and direct connections to mobile network operators (MNOs) provide a solid foundation for effective communication, giving you access to advanced features such as detailed delivery reports, link shortening, and tracking.

## **Before you start**

To complete the integration, you will need an API key from your MessageFlow account. You can generate it in your panel under **Account -> Settings -> API**.

{% hint style="warning" %}

## IMPORTANT INFORMATION

The API key you use for this integration requires special configuration. Before you start, please contact our support team at <support@messageflow.com>. Let them know you want to integrate with Synerise, and we will activate the necessary settings for your key.
{% endhint %}

## **Step-by-step configuration:**

### Part 1: Connecting MessageFlow in Apps & Services

1. Log in to your Synerise account.
2. From the menu on the left, select Settings, and then go to [Apps & Services](https://app.synerise.com/settings/integration).
3. In the list of available integrations, find MessageFlow and click **Show** to expand the details.
4. Click the **+ Add connection** button to start the configuration process.

* Enable the **Enable integration** toggle.
* Optional: If you want to use MessageFlow's native link shortening feature, also enable the **Short URL** toggle.

{% hint style="info" %}
Note: Synerise allows[ shortening links](https://hub.synerise.com/docs/campaign/SMS/creating-SMS-template/#short-links) too.
{% endhint %}

6. In the **Authorization key** field, paste the API’s Authorization key you prepared earlier from your MessageFlow account.

9. Finalize the configuration by clicking the **Apply** button. After this step, the connection status should change to **Connected**.

### Part 2: Creating the SMS Account

After connecting MessageFlow as a provider, you need to create a specific SMS account within Synerise that will use this connection.

1. In your Synerise panel, go to **Settings -> SMS** and click **Add account**.
2. In the **Account name** field, enter a name for your SMS account. It will be displayed on the list of accounts inside Synerise (e.g., MessageFlow Marketing).
3. In the **From name/SenderId** field, enter the sender name that your customers will see.

{% hint style="info" %}
Note: This is usually your brand name (up to 11 characters) and must be added in your MessageFlow account beforehand. [More info](https://docs.messageflow.com/communication-channels-in-the-panel/sms/common-settings/sender-ids).
{% endhint %}

4. From the SMS provider dropdown list, select MessageFlow.
5. From the MessageFlow integration dropdown list, select the connection you created in Part 1.
6. Click **Apply** to save the account.

After saving, your new SMS account will be visible on the list in **Settings -> SMS**.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Important: Synerise allows you to add only one SMS account for a given provider.
{% endhint %}

## Next Steps: Verifying the Integration

To fully verify the integration, the next step is to create an SMS template in Synerise. Once the template is ready, send a test campaign using your new MessageFlow SMS account to your own number. The message status and delivery report should be visible in your MessageFlow panel.
