Viber
Viber is a communication channel that allows sending visually rich messages (text up to 1000 characters, images, CTA buttons) directly to users who have the application installed.
The Viber API module in MessageFlow serves to fully monitor the traffic generated by your integrations. It provides market-leading transparency thanks to the Visual Audit Logs feature. This allows you to verify not just the sending status in system logs, but also the full content of the message (text, link, and image file), eliminating guesswork when resolving delivery inquiries.
Important: In the current model, Viber message sending is performed exclusively via API integration (system-to-system). The web application is used for status monitoring, visual content verification, and data export. API docs >>
Outgoing list (Logs)
The Outgoing list tab (available in the menu: OTT -> Viber API -> Outgoing) is your shipment control center. Here you will find a detailed register of all messages processed by the Viber gateway.
This view allows you to verify in real-time whether messages are reaching recipients, check their opening times, and diagnose potential issues.

Search and Filters
To find a specific message or group of messages, use the filters available above the results table:
Select range: Allows you to define the time range for which you want to display logs.
Receiver: Enables searching for messages sent to a specific phone number.
External ID: Search by your internal identifier (e.g., Order ID from CRM) passed in the API request. This is a key field for linking MessageFlow logs with your database.
Sender name: Filtering by the name (Sender ID) from which the message was sent (e.g., your brand name).
Detailed view (Table)
The results table provides key information about delivery status and user engagement:
Receiver: The phone number to which the message was sent.
Sending time: The exact date and time the message was accepted by the system.
External ID: The external message identifier (if provided in the API request).
Sender name: The identifier (Brand Name) displayed to the recipient on their phone.
Status: The current state of the message (e.g., Delivered).
Opening time: The exact date and time when the user viewed the message (status Seen). This allows for precise measurement of communication effectiveness.
Message details (Visual Audit Logs)
By clicking on a row for a given message, you will expand the Visual Audit Logs panel. Unlike standard logs that show only raw technical data, here you see the sent creative broken down into its components. This allows you to unequivocally confirm exactly what the client received.
Depending on the type of message sent (Text, Image, Text+Button, etc.), the preview contains:
Message content: The text received by the user.
Image: A thumbnail of the sent graphic (if attached). This allows for an instant check of visual correctness (e.g., whether the correct product photo was sent).
Action: Details of the CTA button, including:
Button name: The text visible on the button.
Button URL: The link the button directs to.
Data export
If you need to analyze the logs more deeply, you can download them to an external file. Click the Export button in the upper right corner of the screen to generate a report in .csv format. The file contains a listing extended with technical details, which is useful for data archiving or audits.
