Overview

RCS (Rich Communication Services) is a modern mobile communication standard. It transforms the native messaging application into an interactive channel for conversations and sales processes.

Unlike third-party messengers, RCS is built into the default messaging application on billions of smartphones. It requires no additional software installation on the user's part. Communication relies on the phone number. This universal identifier remains much more common than an email address.

This technology guides the customer through the entire process, from presenting the offer to selecting variants and final confirmation, all within a single message thread. This shortens the sales funnel and eliminates points where the customer could abandon the process.

Sender authenticity verification (Brand Agent) ensures a high level of security. This builds trust from the very first message. RCS does not aim to replace other channels. It serves as their perfect complement.

Key benefits

  • Brand identity verification: The system verifies every sender via a Brand Agent. This builds trust, increases security, and eliminates phishing risks.

  • Rich media: Sending high-quality photos, videos, product carousels, and files engages audiences much more effectively than plain text.

  • Interactivity: Call-to-action (CTA) buttons and suggested replies guide the user from initial interest to conversion within a single chat window.

  • Native operation: Messages arrive in the phone's default application. This eliminates the need for users to install additional software.

  • Advanced analytics: Access to delivery and read statistics allows for precise evaluation of campaign effectiveness.

  • Reliable reach (Fallback): The platform supports cascading campaigns with automatic switching to SMS. This ensures reaching all recipients in the database, regardless of their RCS support. [Cascading campaigns are an advanced mechanism available upon request]

  • Easy consent management: The channel smoothly supports opt-out and opt-in processes directly from the chat window.

Communication security

RCS maximizes security for both brands and end users. A multi-level verification system effectively eliminates corporate spoofing attempts (phishing) and builds trust in the channel. Key security elements include:

  • Multi-level sender verification: Before a brand receives permission to send messages, it passes a strict verification process conducted by the Mobile Operator and the Integrator.

  • Brand profile and verification badge: Every conversation features a brand profile (logo and name). A special Verified Badge appears next to the sender's name to confirm profile authenticity. This acts as a security feature and builds brand prestige and credibility.

Global Availability

Rich Communication Services is rapidly becoming a global standard for business communication. Service availability depends on the device's operating system and the local mobile operator's infrastructure.

Android

The standard operates natively on Android devices worldwide. Sending and receiving messages requires the Google Messages application. The user must set it as the default messaging app and enable the RCS chat feature in the settings. Most major global mobile carriers fully support RCS for Android.

iOS

Devices running iOS 18 or newer technically support RCS. However, actual functionality requires implementation by the local mobile operator. Deployment status varies significantly depending on the region and the specific telecom provider.

Availability in Poland (Local Market)

The platform provides full RCS support for Android devices across major Polish networks (T-Mobile, Orange, and Play). Currently, Polish mobile operators do not yet support RCS for business communication on iOS devices outside the iMessage ecosystem.
