Last updated 6 months ago

The Tags feature allows for the automatic assignment of labels to groups of emails, making it easier to categorize and track them. Tagging emails is particularly useful for monitoring and analyzing the effectiveness of marketing communications, automation, and transactional emails.

Tag configuration can be done in the following section: E-mail API -> Settings -> SMTP Accounts -> Additional settings -> Tags.

The Tag Report tab enables the reviewing of results for the configured tags, offering two main analytical functions: Compare statuses and Compare tags.

Compare statuses

The Compare statuses feature allows the selecting of any tag and analyzing of the individual statuses assigned to messages labeled with that tag. This way, it can be checked how many emails with the selected label were delivered, opened, bounced, etc.

Search Tool

In the Search Tool for the Compare statuses report, the search criteria for the selected tag can be defined.

Available options include:

  • Select range: Allows choosing the time range for analyzing messages.

  • Select SMTP: Allows selecting the SMTP account to be analyzed.

  • Tag: Enables choosing the tag to include in the report.

  • Statuses: Allows selecting the message statuses to include in the report, such as ok, hard bounce, and open.

Clicking the Search button after defining the search criteria will generate the report.

Tags report search results

The tag report search results will be presented as a line chart, displaying the analysis for the selected tag in the context of various message statuses. This enables quick data comparison and monitoring of the effectiveness of emails labeled with specific tags.

Compare tags

The Compare tags feature allows the selection of multiple tags to compare their performance based on assigned statuses. This is particularly useful for situations where A/B tests are conducted within an email campaign. This feature helps evaluate which version of the message or which group of communications performs better by comparing different statuses, such as email opens or link clicks.

Search Tool

In the Search Tool for the Compare tags report, search criteria can be defined to obtain detailed information about selected tags.

Available options include:

  • Select range: Allows choosing the time range for analyzing message data.

  • Select SMTP: Allows selecting the SMTP account to be analyzed.

  • Tags: Enables selecting specific tags for comparison, e.g., campaign1, campaign2.

  • Status: Allows selecting the message status to include in the report, such as open.

Clicking the Search button after defining the search criteria will generate the report.

Tags report search results

The Compare tags report results will be presented as a line chart, displaying the analysis of the selected tags based on the specific status. This allows for an easy comparison of the effectiveness of different tags and helps monitor the results of email campaigns or other types of communications labeled with specific tags.
