Push campaign configuration

PreviousExport listNextOutgoing

Last updated 15 days ago

After logging in, go to the PUSH -> Campaigns tab.

  1. Click the "+" button to create a new campaign.

  1. Give the campaign a name that will be visible only to the user in the panel.

Create notification content:

  1. Go to step 1, Content. Here you will define the details of the notification:

    • Message subject: This is a short title that will be visible in the notification. You can personalize it, for example, by inserting the recipient's name.

    • Message Content: The main message the user will receive. It can also be personalized.

    • Graphics and emoticons: You can add an image to a notification and use emoticons to make it more appealing.

You can also add .gif files to the content. However, they will display correctly only on devices running iOS. Currently, you can upload images in the following formats:

  • .gif – max 150 KB

  • .jpg, .png, .jpeg – max 512 KB

Additional options

In the additional options below you can set the campaign's sending capacity, which means controlling the number of messages sent at a certain time.

Advanced options

In the advanced options, define the type of link that will be attached to the notification:

  • Browser: A link that redirects the user to a web browser.

  • Deeplink: A link that leads to a specific section of the application.

  • Webview: Displays web content directly in the application, without the need to open a browser.

On the right side of the screen you will see a preview of the notification on different operating systems (Android, iOS), which allows you to verify the appearance on different devices.

Applications and recipients

  1. Select the application to which you want to send a push message.

  2. Then select an audience group or dynamic segment. A dynamic segment allows you to send messages to users who meet certain criteria in real time.

Summary of the campaign

  1. At this stage you will see a preview of the message, including the title, graphics and the selected audience.

  2. Before sending the campaign to all users, it is recommended to send a test notification to your mobile device to make sure the message displays correctly and leads to the right place in the app.

Testing a mobile push campaign

Push campaign testing is a test send of selected campaigns to selected phone numbers. We recommend conducting tests before sending out any push campaign.

  1. Go to the PUSH tab → Campaigns, and click the Select campaigns for testing button.

  2. Next, select the campaigns you want to test by checking the appropriate boxes. You can only choose from campaigns that have not yet been sent.

  3. Once you've selected the campaigns to test, click the Send tests button.

  1. In the window that appears, enter the test phone numbers. If any of the selected campaigns use personalization, a Personalization section will appear in the window. Choose the phone number that will be used to simulate the personalization.

Planning and sending campaigns

  1. Set the date and time for sending the campaign by selecting the appropriate date from the calendar.

  2. When everything is ready, click "Save and Submit" to launch the campaign.

If you don't want to send a message yet, you can click "Save" to save the campaign and return to edit it later.
